EEAK I FOUND MY TABLET PEN! AHHH


With the 6th gen coming out later this year, it got me to thinking of how much I love Pokemon, and how far it has come as a video game. It helps me relive my childhood, it’s helped me learn to read, it has opened my eyes to different kinds of people. I’ve made many friends with the same love and passion for Pokemon.

Its amazing game has captured the hearts of many, one of which is my little sister Bethany. I was 12 years old when she was born, been playing Pokemon since i was 7, I’m going to be 23 this year, and ever since she could pick up anything with a game in it, she first chose Pokemon, even before she could read. It’s made our bond together that much stronger. When I told her about the 6th gen and how it was all in 3D she about flipped her lid. It made me smile, especially when she said “It’s about time for a 3D game.” to which I responded “YOU HAVE NO IDEA!” Haha.

I’m so very thankful for Pokemon. From the wonderful friends I’ve made, to my little sisters generation, I can’t be more proud of Pokemon and how it’s gone from just a little hobby of mine to something I can’t live without. I know a lot of people look down on me /less tumblr/deviantart users/ for loving Pokemon, but i think that if they know how much it has made my life better, they wouldn’t be the way they are.

For those who love Pokemon,share it with a younger generation. They may not have been here since Red and Blue, but that doesn’t make them any less of a fan.
